1. What is a Contact in RazorpayX?

A Contact is an entity to whom payouts can be made through supported modes such as UPI/IMPS/NEFT/RTGS.

3. Can I classify a Contact?

Yes, you can classify a Contact and assign a type or a category to that Contact. For example, Contact types can be Vendor, Employee or other custom types as applicable to your business. Know more about Contact types.

4. What is meant by ‘Active’ and ‘Inactive’ contact?

When you create a Contact, it is in the Active status by default. However, for business needs, you can mark a Contact as ‘Inactive’. If marked ‘Inactive’, you cannot create Payout to that Contact. If you want to resume payouts to a Contact, mark them as ‘Active’ again.

5. What modifications can I make to a Contact once created?

Once created, you can modify any property of the Contact. In fact, you can also mark a Contact as ‘Inactive’ or ‘Active’. Know more about Contact actions.

6. How do I block payouts to a Contact?

You can mark a Contact as ‘Inactive’ to block any payout requests to a Contact.

7. How do I resume payouts to a blocked Contact?

Mark the Contact as ‘Active’ to resume payouts to the Contact.

8. Can I automatically import my Linked Accounts and Customers from the Razorpay Payments Dashboard to RazorpayX Dashboard?

No. You cannot automatically import Customers and Linked Accounts from Razorpay Payments Dashboard to RazorpayX Dashboard.
