  2. Download your preferred mobile banking app like BHIM, PhonePe, HDFC, PayZapp, ICICI Pockets, PayTM, Google Tez or WhatsApp, that supports payments via BharatQR.
  3. Razorpay generates BharatQR code for your business and provides Scan and Pay option at the checkout.
  4. Scan the QR code to proceed with the payment.
  5. Enter the amount and make the payment using debit card/UPI.

3. Is there a limit on the number of transactions carried out via BQR?

The current transaction limit is set to 1 Lac per transaction. However, a lower per day transaction limit may be set at the bank’s end.

4. How will these payments reflect in my bank account?

The payments will be settled directly into your bank account.

5. Where all can I accept payments via Bharat QR?

You can accept payments via BharatQR for streaming DTH services, paying for groceries at the nearby kirana store, or paying for utilities at the retail outlets, by scanning QR code at their system/payment counter.

6. My customer claims to have made a payment using the QR. However, I am unable to view the payment on the Dashboard. What could be the reason?

This could happen in situations where though the customer’s account is debited, the transaction is still processing or yet to reach Razorpay’s partner bank account. Therefore, the payment is not created and does not reflect on the Dashboard. There are two possible cases:
  1. The transaction has failed and the money will be refunded back to the customer by the customer’s bank.
  2. The transaction is successful. However, our banking partner failed to send the confirmation to Razorpay. In such cases, the payment will be created and authorised within 24 hours. This is done to ensure end-to-end visibility of transactions for you and the customer. Additionally, this will enable you to take refund-related actions on your own.
