# Razorpay Webstore States

> There are two states of a Webstore, **Active** and **Inactive**. Given below is an illustration of the life cycle of a Webstore.

The table below lists the various states of a Webstore and gives a brief description of each state:

## Status | Description | Next Steps

## Active | Indicates the store has been created and saved. You can accept payments using this Webstore. You can edit this Webstore. | Customers can start making payments through this store.

Inactive | Indicates the Webstore has been deactivated or has expired. You cannot accept payments using this Webstore. | Customers can no longer make payments through this Webstore. You can reactivate it to start accepting payments. There are three ways to reactivate:-  Update Expiry Date.
