# UPI QR Code

> Using Razorpay UPI QR Codes, you can accept UPI payments from your customers where the customers scan the QR codes using their mobile devices to make payments. You can control the payment amount and speed up your customers' payment experience. UPI QR Codes are useful when you want to collect offline or in-person payments from your customers.

QR Code is an information matrix in a machine-readable format containing the required details to accept customers' payments.

## How it Works

    On your payments app, enter the amount you want to collect from your customer and initiate the payment.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Step 2">
    Display the QR Code (received from Razorpay) on the app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Step 3">
    Customers scan the QR Code using any of the UPI apps installed on their mobile devices.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Step 4">
    After a successful payment, the customer and you receive a notification about the payment.
  </Step>
