# Save Customer Card Details as Network Tokens

> You can save sensitive card information entered by the customer as `tokens`. On a repeat visit, the customers will be able to pay directly just by entering the CVV of the card. This saves the customer the hassle of entering the card details again for every transaction.

## RBI Guidelines

According to [RBI Guidelines](https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/FS_Notification.aspx?Id=11449\&fn=9\&Mode=0), only card networks can tokenise cards. **Tokenisation is permitted only after the customer provides explicit consent**. The process for card tokenisation differs on a case-to-case basis.
