# Buy Now Button

> You can create a Buy Now button from the Dashboard and embed it on your website to accept payments from customers. This is useful in cases where you want to sell products on your online store.

**Example**

Suppose you are a pottery artist who sells hand-painted pottery articles to customers using your website. You can embed the Buy Now button on your online store to sell your products.

Assume you sell the following product on your online store:

## Product Name | Number of Items Available | Number of Items purchasable per user | Price per Item (in ₹)

Handpainted Coffee Mugs Set | 25 | 1 | 500

You also offer gift wrapping for an additional cost of ₹30.

## Prerequisites

* [Set up](/payments/set-up#sign-up) your Razorpay account.
* Log in to the Dashboard.
* The Dashboard has [test and live modes](/payments/dashboard/test-live-modes). Payment Buttons created in the test mode do not appear in the live environment. **You must create a new Payment Button in live mode**.
