# Glossary

## Term | Description

## Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) | Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) is the total sales value of all transactions processed through a platform over a specific period, before any deductions like fees or refunds.

## Average Order Value (AOV) | Average Order Value (AOV) is the average amount spent per transaction during a specific period, calculated by dividing total revenue by the number of orders.

## UPI Intent Flow | When a customer selects the UPI payment option during checkout on a website or app, the UPI app automatically launches on their mobile device.

Success Rate | The percentage of payment transactions that were successfully completed out of the total attempted transactions during a specific period.
